How Much Can You Claim?

You can claim up to 600 euro per passenger. In Europe, airline compensation amounts are regulated by the Regulation EC 261/2004. If your flight is delayed, cancelled or overbooked, you can receive up to 600 euro.

How much is denied boarding compensation? 

The exact amount depends on the distance of your flight. You can receive up to 600 euro per passenger. 

Most people receive 250, 400 or 600 euro. It’s important to note that the compensation amount is not influenced by the ticket cost.

There’s one exception. When the flight distance is more than 3,500 kilometres and you reach your destination 3 to 4 hours later than planned, you are entitled to 50% of the compensation (you can get 300 euro, not 600 euro).
